Prep Students
In addition to the subjects taught as part of the Prep curriculum, Prep students participate in:
- Fire Education Program - a program of fire safety and awareness run by the local Fire Brigade
- School Nurse visits - each child has the pportunity to be seen by the visiting School Nurse whose checks include hearing and eyesight.
- Swimming Program - Prep students join with Grade 1 and 2 students to go swimming one afternoon per week for 8 weeks in Term 4.
- Junior School Sports - students participate in their house teams in a series of skill-based activities.
- Buddy System - where students are paired with a senior student who works with them in special classes and supports them in the playground.
- Performing Arts - each year students have the opportunity to perform on stage in a school production. From waiting in the wings to wearing costume, each student is exposed to a full theatre experience.
Prep students also participate in many of the extra curricular activities held throughout the school. Activities have included:
