The School's priority, as outlined by our Charter, is Student Connectedness - with school and each other. Literacy is taught through a multisensory approach which connects speech to print. Students learn through visual, auditory, oral and tactile ways which cater for all learning styles.

The classroom teacher covers most areas of the curriculum supported by specialist teachers of:

Students have access to a number of support services, such as:

• Integration
• Extension programs
• GATEWAYS workshops

Communication between parents and the school is paramount. An Information Evening is held early in February to outline what you and your child can expect in regard to subjects, timetable, homework and so on. Parents receive formal, written reports in June and December. Parent/teacher meetings are held in mid February, when parents can pass on information about their child, and in July to discuss the mid-year report. Parents are encouraged to contact their child's teacher whenever they have concerns or questions.
