Junior School Zoo excursion

On Friday the 31st of May, the junior school students became ‘Wildlife Explorers’ when they ventured to the Melbourne Zoo, which tied in with our current unit of inquiry on animals. During their visit, students’ had the opportunity to observe a range of different animals throughout their journey within the zoo. Students’ also participated in the ‘Wild Explorer’ sessions, where they had a close encounter with a variety of interesting animals. These sessions also gave each student the opportunity to explore the ‘Wild Garden’, where they put their explorer hats on and became inquirers with the many hands-on activities that surrounded them. Every student thoroughly enjoyed the day.
