The Prep's visit to Chesterfield Farm

The rain could not dampen the excitement of the Preps as they went on an excursion to Chesterfield Farm. They went as part of their unit of inquiry 'Needs of living things determine how they survive'. They found out about all sorts of animals and what needs they have and our responsibilty to keep them safe and healthy.

They got to milk cows, feed the animals, watch a sheering demonstration, go on a tractor and watch a sheep dog herd in a flock of sheep! It was a very fun day and not one they are likely to forget for a long time.
