In accordance with the direction by Premier Andrews, on- school -site learning will return to Burwood Heights Primary School and Kindergarten on Tuesday, 26th May, for Prep and Junior School students.


Home/Remote Learning will continue for Middle and Senior School students until they return to school on Tuesday 9th June, 2020.


If you feel there areexceptional circumstances’ that would require your child/children in the Middle or Senior School to be supervised on school premises, or they are deemed “vulnerable” by the Department of Health and Human Services, please complete the application form and send it to the school’s email address:

Vulnerable children include:

  • children in out-of-home care
  • children deemed by Child Protection and/or Family Services to be at risk of harm
  • children identified by the school as vulnerable (including via referral from a family violence agency, homelessness or youth justice service or mental health or other health service and children with a disability).


A new application form must be completed every two weeks and emailed to the school if you will require your child/ren to be supervised at school during Term Two.


We ask all families to ensure they have signed up to ClassDojo and Flexibuzz.

All families received an invitation to join ClassDojo with an individual sign-up code for their child’s class. Families can communicate directly with their child’s class teacher through ClassDojo. If you have not yet signed-up and have lost this information please email the school and your child’s teacher will contact you. Email:
ClassDojo can be used on any mobile device, as well as desktop computers. You can access the website by clocking on the ClassDojo image below.

Stay up-to-date with the latest school reminders through our school app. The app is called FlexiBuzz and is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android Phone, Android Tablet and Windows phone devices. If you don’t have a mobile device, there is also an app available for computer, both Mac and PC. We kindly ask that you download FlexiBuzz to one of these devices, register a free account then find and tick the school. When you are ticking the school boxes, please make sure you tick on “Whole School” and the specific grades that apply to your family. You’ll receive all the information with a push notification – much like a text message directly to your device. Everything we post can be translated into one of 81 languages!
