All school students performed in our whole school Production 'Gladis Baker, Gladiator' at the Besen Centre. 

The process started for our students in February with the Senior School students auditioning for the lead roles and main cast rehearsals running throughout Term One and Two.

All classes began learning their song and dance routine in Term Two with a dress rehearsal at the start of Term Three before the performance in August.

For many of our Prep and Grade One students this was their first time on stage.

A highlight for our main cast students was the chance to use headset microphones and do a sound check as well as see their photo and name appear in the program. 

Our talented students artists worked collaboratively with several staff to design and create the props and several parents, grandparents and staff assisted with costumes.

Thanks to all the students and staff for their committment to rehearsals, particularly to the main cast for their dedication to learn all their lines and arrive promptly for 8.10am rehearsals on a Monday morning. Thanks also to all our wonderful families for their assistance and support.
