Suggestions For A Successful Stall

  • We encourage you to share a stall with a friend or relative.
  • Ensure you have enough change as this will be a cash only event.  Burwood Heights PS does not have the facility to provide change.
  • Ensure you have sufficient plastic or recycle shopping bags for your sales.
  • Be realistic about pricing your goods so your items sell.
  • Be flexible and prepare to negotiate on the day.
  • Clothes sell well when they are cleaned, ironed, sorted according to size and priced for a bargain.
  • Battery operated items will sell much better if they have batteries and can be seen to be in good working order.

Multi-Piece Items

Items with more than one piece (puzzles, games, etc) are best displayed in sealed clear plastic bags which prevents pieces from getting separated or lost when handled.

Be certain to check that all pieces are present when you package the toy and that any missing pieces are noted on the label.

Market

Clothes & Manchester

We recommend that clothes be on hangers on a rack or neatly folded in tubs or baskets.  Items should be clearly labelled with the size and price.  All clothing and manchester should be washed and be in good condition (no stains or tears).
