Community Breakfast

The Community Breakfast on Wednesday 7th May was a great way to bring families together to celebrate Mother's Day and spend time together as a community. Pancakes, hot chocolate, cereal, juice, croissants and muffins kept everyone fed and well hydrated.

A huge thank-you to Mr Rhyder for co-ordinating the whole event and to all the staff and other volunteers who made it happen. A special thanks to Mr Kritsonis for organising and making free coffees for all the adults, he was kept very busy! Limbo and other games with the students and their mums ensured students were well occupied, although many were also happy to run off their breakfast with footy on the oval. A photo booth, paper flowers to decorate for their mums and a mum appreciation board provide opportunities for students to celebrate and reflect on what makes their mum or mother figure so special.
